Two Chinese Petroleum Enterprises Won the Quality and Technology Award of the China Quality Association
On December 2nd, the reporter learned from the China Quality Association that in the selection of the 2022 China Quality Association Quality Technology Award project award, a total of 2 enterprises from China Petroleum won the award. Among them, the "Research and Application of Green Remanufacturing Quality Control Technology for Waste Metal Petroleum Pipe" led by the Engineering Materials Research Institute won the first prize, and the "Optimization of Production of High Melting Point, Low Oil Content, and High Quality Paraffin Wax by Orthogonal Method" applied by Dalian Petrochemical Company won the Excellent Award.
The "Research and Application of Green Remanufacturing Quality Control Technology for Waste Metal Petroleum Pipe" project led by the Engineering Materials Research Institute has gone through more than 10 years of research. Through the use of ceramic lining technology, waste metal pipe is remanufactured, which not only restores the mechanical properties of the pipe, but also significantly improves its corrosion resistance and wear resistance. This project fills the manufacturing gap of ceramic lined pipes for the oil and gas industry for the first time worldwide, and solves the major problems of waste treatment and life extension application of oil and gas metal pipes. The project of "Optimizing the Production of High Melting Point, Low Oil Content, and High Quality Paraffin Wax Using Orthogonal Methods" is independently undertaken by Dalian Petrochemical. It uses orthogonal experimental methods to study the process parameters that affect product quality, successfully solving the industry problem of high melting point paraffin wax difficult to meet the quality requirements of fully refined paraffin wax, and achieving the quality requirements of fully refined paraffin wax for the first time within the group. The Quality and Technology Award of the China Association for Quality was established in 2005 and is the only science and technology award approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Science and Technology Award Office in the field of quality and technology in China. It is selected annually. It is understood that this year's selection selected 9 first prizes, 80 second prizes, and 207 excellent awards from 844 achievements in various industries across the country.
