China Petroleum's first wind power project has been fully put into operation, with an annual power generation capacity of 2.6 billion kilowatt hours, achieving carbon reduction of over 200000 tons
On March 17th, with the successful grid connection of the Meizi Wind Farm in Jilin Oilfield, PetroChina's first wind power project was fully put into operation. This wind power project is an important component of the 150000 kilowatt self consuming wind and solar power project under construction in Jilin Oilfield. It includes 18 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 78000 kilowatts, an annual power generation of 260 million kilowatt hours, and an equivalent full load of 3395 hours per year. All the electricity generated is self consumed by the oil and gas production of Jilin Oilfield, achieving a preliminary low-carbon oil and gas production in Jilin Oilfield. The annual carbon reduction reaches 202000 tons, equivalent to 79000 tons of standard coal, and can also reduce electricity costs by 85 million yuan for oil and gas production. It is understood that 18 wind turbines are distributed in the Huaqiao Wind Farm in Xinmin Mining Area of Jilin Oilfield, Meizi Wind Farm in Qian'an Mining Area, Beihu Wind Farm and Qinggang Wind Farm in Xinli Mining Area, and Meilin Wind Farm in Qianda Mining Area. Jilin Oilfield adopts a construction form of simultaneous installation and mature acceptance one by one. Among them, the four wind turbines of Beihu Wind Farm began to be connected to the grid for power generation on December 26 last year, while the eight wind turbines of Huaqiao, Qinggang, and Meilin wind farms were all successfully put into operation in February this year. As of March 17th, the cumulative power generation of 12 wind turbines exceeded 15 million kilowatt hours. The overall hoisting and successful production of the 18 typhoon have gone through tremendous challenges caused by the epidemic, such as traffic control, severe snowstorm weather, and rapid cooling. The Production and Operation Department of Jilin Oilfield, the New Energy Business Department, and other relevant departments actively and scientifically organize, efficiently coordinate, and prepare for material scheduling, equipment transfer, personnel mobilization, and other early construction preparations. The construction team strictly adheres to the milestone schedule, reasonably deploys, implements relevant requirements such as technology, quality standards, and project progress, and promptly tracks and solves existing problems to ensure project quality, safety, and progress control. To ensure the construction progress, Jilin Oilfield comprehensively coordinates the construction progress of three wind farms, namely Qian'an Meizi, Xinli Beihu, and Xinmin Huaqiao. In terms of land use, Meizi Wind Farm fully utilizes idle land such as well pads and transfer stations that have been withdrawn from oil and gas production in Jilin Oilfield for construction. In terms of personnel organization, the project construction team is entirely composed of in-service employees from Jilin Oilfield, which saves construction investment. In terms of production, operation and maintenance, the oil field has allocated personnel reasonably, upgraded the power supply substation to a few or no one on duty substation, and the surplus personnel are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the wind farm, while ensuring oil and gas production and accelerating the construction of new energy. With the smooth production of the 18 wind turbines, Jilin Oilfield has accumulated valuable experience in design and installation, construction coordination, grid connection acceptance, and other aspects, laying a solid foundation for the construction and operation of the 550000 kilowatt Ange wind farm this year.
